neighborhood meeting changed

Dear neighbors,
We decided to postpone tonight's meeting about the progressive dinner until tomorrow, that's Tuesday, same place (my house) and time. (7:30)
Who knew it would snow so much?! Please come and join us to make plans for our annual event.
Thanks,

neighborhood meeting

Happy new year, neighbors!
I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday with your families and friends. Winter is now upon us and that means it is time to plan our annual progressive dinner! We need to meet next week to pick a date and a theme. The dinner is usually held in Feb or early March. Please let me know if you can come to a meeting next Monday, Jan 19 at 7:30 to plan this out. All are welcome to the meeting - I am willing to coordinate but really need your help! We can meet at my house, unless someone else is willing to host. You can email me at gwyneddknoll@gmail.com or call at 215-661-8775.

Stacy is compiling a list of the recommendations of the neighborhood for various workers. She needs some general handyman names - can you please send them to me and I will copy her in? Many thanks to Stacy for her work on this.

Now for a difficult topic...I received a couple of notes about the robbery and murder that occurred on Gwynmont Drive last week...not far from here. You have probably heard about it by now. Apparently a family was being watched and as soon as the garage door opened in the morning, the attackers went in. Very tragic story....everything I read sounded like it was a targeted attack, not random but it is still a reminder to be careful. I also had a note from a neighbor on Stonington that an attempted breakin occurred but the alarm system scared the intruder away. So let's all be more diligent about watching out for each other's homes and leaving a few lights on!

Thank you,
Carol Pfister
