Happy new year to all of you! January means it is time to start planning the annual progressive dinner. There will be a change this year – I am ready to retire from the coordination of the dinner. I've done it for more than 10 years so it is time! Please consider volunteering to be the coordinator – perhaps even a team of people would be nice. I will be happy to work with you on the email communication part and show you how it was organized previously. But maybe there needs to be a whole new approach to the dinner – time of year, food served, different themes, different places, etc. We did have a summer party a couple of years ago that was just appetizers and desserts and it was much easier to administrate. Go ahead and think outside the box! If you have been wishing the format would change or have suggestions, now is the time to volunteer. This has always been a great event to meet the new neighbors and catch up with the ones you only see once a year.
